Dear friends,
THIS SUNDAY the Rev. Linda Faith Chalk will be leading us in worship.
OUR FIRST READING is Acts 10: 44-48, “The Holy Spirit Falls on the Gentiles”. In this powerful passage, we witness the Holy Spirit falling upon Gentiles (anyone who is not of Jewish decent), confirming that God’s love and salvation extend to all people, regardless of their background or heritage. It’s a reminder of the inclusive nature of God’s grace and the boundless reach of His love. Paul writes to the Ephesian church about this ingrafting of the Gentiles into Israel, “This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.” – Ephesians 3: 6.
