Dear friends,
WITH OUR GOSPEL TODAY as Jesus teaches his disciples in what has been called: “The book of glory” in John’s gospel we need to recognize again what has gone before. Jesus addresses the fears of the disciples as he is bringing deep spiritual truth and seeking to open their understanding and to deepen their understanding of God the Father. We are encouraged and taught by his words, and the truth that he opens to us as his people.
