Dear friends,
ON THIS SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT, our Interim Moderator, the Rev. Dr. Roland De Vries, will once again be leading us in worship. We will light the candle of peace and we will also share together in the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
OUR SERMON FOR THIS SUNDAY will explore the text of Isaiah 61, and is entitled Advent Blues. We will consider how the tradition of blues music helps us think into the season of Advent—to experience it as the mix of joy and wilderness it is.
