THIS SUNDAY the Rev. Linda Faith Chalk will be leading us in worship.
THIS SUNDAY IS PENTECOST SUNDAY. We celebrate the birth of the Church. The disciples had obeyed Jesus’ command to stay in Jerusalem until they had received power from on high. They waited and prayed and the Holy Spirit descended on them empowering them to boldly speak of Jesus. Let us, as we gather in worship, receive all that God has for us.
